From the everyday to the astonishing, and the ordinary to the miraculous, the Roman poet Ovid’s epic stories of transformation, love and power use myth and legend to explore the reality of our existence and the wonder of being alive.

The New Wolsey’s Senior Youth Theatre take to the main stage for the first time in this entertaining and provocative new version of a timeless classic, created for Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre by three leading British playwrights and first performed in 2021.

Age guidance: 16+.
Contains strong adult themes, strong language, graphic depictions of violence including sexual violence, infanticide, parricide (killing a parent) and mutilation.

It also features haze, flashing lights, strobe, loud noises and a gun shot.
