Youth Theatre Plus is a welcoming, supportive group especially for autistic young people aged 11–16 (School Years 7+) who would benefit from a calmer environment with fewer people in the room than our other Youth Theatre groups.
It’s a space where you can take things at your own pace, feel comfortable, and enjoy making theatre in a way that works for you.
What happens in sessions?
Each week is relaxed, friendly, and creative. Sessions are all about:
✨ Having fun and exploring creativity
✨ Building confidence in yourself
✨ Supporting communication skills in a natural way
✨ Raising aspirations and trying new things
You’ll work with professional theatre practitioners who have experience in creating inclusive theatre and making sure everyone feels supported and included. Throughout the year, there are also opportunities to share what you’ve made with friends and family.
No pressure, no expectations—just space to explore and enjoy making work together.
