A Space for Creativity and Community!
Creative Club is a vibrant weekly creative group produced by The New Wolsey Theatre’s Creative Communities team, delivered in partnership with Ipswich Job Centre.
Creative Club is all about bringing people together with creativity! The club is run at Ipswich Job Centre and delivered by a multi-disciplinary artist, who will help you to get creative, learn new skills and share your interests. Creative Club has been running since September 2025 and over the last year they have delivered parties for families at the Job Centre, showcased their work through a mixed media exhibition, and transformed a room at the Job Centre into another world.
Creative Club is back in September 2026 for another year of exciting projects and plans, taking the lead from the groups’ participants. In autumn, we will be working towards another mixed media exhibition, with participant’s individual stories and journeys as the focus.
We will also be having consultation sessions to decide the direction of the club’s spring and summer plans, as well as taking the groups lead in planning this year’s community festival, The Big Afternoon.

The group is built to be safe, inclusive and adaptable. When you sign up there will be an opportunity to tell us your access needs so we can better understand how to support you in the room.
