Bringing people together with creativity
Creative Club is a vibrant weekly creative group produced by The New Wolsey Theatre’s Creative Communities team, delivered in partnership with Ipswich Job Centre.
Creative Club is all about bringing people together with creativity! The club is run at Ipswich Job Centre and delivered by a multi-disciplinary artist, who will help you to get creative, learn new skills and share your interests. Anyone aged 18 + is welcome to join us. You don’t have to sign up, but we are always happy to chat before you come along. The club started in September 2025, and over the last couple of terms the group have explored print, painting, writing, sculpture and textiles. The group worked toward an exhibition which they showcased in the February half term at Ipswich Job Centre.
The group was built in response to the success of our Eat, Sleep, Move, Repeat project delivered with Ipswich Job Centre, 2024-25, which was nominated for a UK Theatre Award for Excellence in Inclusivity. Check out the work created from our Eat, Sleep, Move, Repeat project here.
