The New Wolsey Theatre is seeking skilled Casual Technicians to join our Hours As Required pool.
Please note that we are looking for people to apply as soon as possible. We will be meeting suitable applicants on a rolling basis, as soon as possible - this could be sooner than the listed deadline of 29 May.
We are particularly keen to hear from experienced professionals with expertise in:
- Lighting (LX) with ETC console skills
- Sound with Yamaha (e.g., QL series) desk experience
- Theatre Carpenters with professional theatre experience
If you have strong technical skills and want flexible work supporting our produced shows and visiting companies, we’d love to hear from you.
Who we’re looking for:
You must have:
- Previous professional theatre experience
- Specialised competency in LX, Sound or Carpentry
- Flexibility to work on an as required basis
Contract & Pay:
Casual Technicians are employed on a zero-hours contract. Hours are as required and depend on the theatre’s activity.
£12.75 – £14.35 per hour
(Rates from April 2026, dependent on skills and experience)
