Led by Pilot Theatre’s Associate Director, this practical session will share creative approaches to exploring Noughts and Crosses in the classroom
The workshop will focus on extracts from both the play text and the novel, consider the theatrical realisation of the production, and examine social justice issues related to its themes.
Aimed at secondary school and Further Education teachers, this session would be most suited to those whose subject specialisms are Drama, English and PSHE, or who have an interest in using creativity in the classroom. The workshop accompanies Pilot Theatre’s national tour of Noughts and Crosses, which will be presented at The New Wolsey Theatre between Tuesday 17 – Saturday 21 March 2026. There are also comprehensive learning resources available, which include filmed scene extracts of the performance to watch again.
