Please note: this event takes place in a Bus on the Cornhill (Ipswich, IP1 1DH).
One man, four books—and a bus.
Step aboard for an unforgettable event with Dr. Ashley Hickson-Lovence: novelist, poet, literary critic, and Lecturer in Creative Writing. In this intimate and unique setting, Ashley will share the stories behind his acclaimed books, read from his work, and bring his words to life with warmth and energy.
Ashley is the author of The 392 (set entirely on a London bus), Your Show (based on the life of Premier League referee Uriah Rennie), the young adult novel-in-verse Wild East, and his latest, Why I Am Not a Bus Driver—a moving reflection on grief, love, and community.
This event is suitable for all ages and promises to be something truly special.
