We are looking for a freelance Production Manager with experience of working on mid-scale theatre for our Rock ‘n’ Roll pantomime production of 'Cinderella' this winter.
A contemporary, anarchic and pop/rock infused take on this classic is written by Olivier Award-winning Vikki Stone and directed by our Chief Executive/Artistic Director, Douglas Rintoul.
The New Wolsey Theatre’s pantomime is a much-loved, record breaking pantomime that is a significant part of the cultural identity of the town. Our 2024/25 pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, and our 2025/26 pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, have been nominated in various categories at the UK Pantomime Awards. The New Wolsey Theatre was nominated for the UK Theatre Most Welcoming Theatre of the Year award and we won a UK Pantomime Best Digital Panto award for the livestream of another of our previous pantomimes, Jack and the Beanstalk.
Rehearsals will take place in central Ipswich, Suffolk. Performances are at the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.
The New Wolsey Theatre utilises the Theatre Green Book on all of it’s productions, with a commitment to making theatre more environmentally sustainable.
