Episode 11 – ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ is coming to the New Wolsey – Heidi Bernhard-Bubb from the Ormiston Sudbury Academy talks to us about putting this huge project together!

1 Jul 2022

Heidi Bernhard-Bubb from Ormiston Sudbury Academy chats to us all about the the upcoming 'Playmaking Festival' in which many schools will come together to put on a production of Much Ado About Nothing!

We spoke about what the Playmaking Festival is and what her role is within the Royal Shakespeare Company's schools programme, and how this year's show is shaping up.

Heidi also shares her view on Shakespeare, including her really interesting opinion on how to truly appreciate the famous playwright's work!

We talked about the impact the experience has on the children involved in the production, as well as all of the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep the kids entertained and focused.

Thank you to Heidi for giving us her time to record this podcast!
