Bridie Horne from the Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) chats to us about their brilliant company, CTC, and reveals all about the upcoming show at the New Wolsey, The Sound of Music!
We chat about the make-up of the company – the four different areas ranging from a part-time academy to full-time foundation course to prepare students for the next step in their careers.
Bridie talks about seeing the school through the pandemic (CTC were in just their first year when COVID struck!) and transitioning from online sharing of work, back to full-scale productions like this one coming up in July.
We chat about casting The Sound of Music, how rehearsals are going, and other fascinating topics – such as the need for role-sharing with young performers.
The Sound of Music opens at The New Wolsey Theatre on 7th July and runs for 4 shows, finishing on 9th. You can book your tickets here.
Thank you to Bridie for this fab interview during what is an incredibly busy schedule for you!
