New Wolsey Theatre is looking for a Lighting Technician/ LX Operator for our Rock ‘n’ Roll pantomime production of Beauty and the Beast.

Come join our brilliant backstage team and help create the magic of our spectacular festive show.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of technical theatre with specific knowledge and skill in Lighting.

The show is directed by Jake Smith and written by the award-winning comedian, writer and composer Vikki Stone.

The New Wolsey Theatre was nominated as Theatre of the Year in the 2025 Stage Management Association awards and has a national reputation for work in access and inclusion, and for pioneering the actor musician form.

Rate

£13.85 per hour. An additional x 0.5 of your hourly rate will be paid if you are required to work on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.

Fixed Term contract.

Experience of technical theatre and specific skill around lighting is essential.
