We’re looking for a Rehearsal CSM for panto!

The New Wolsey Theatre (NWT) is looking for a CSM to join an SM team of three, to help us rehearse and tech our new Christmas actor-musician panto Goldilocks and the Three Bears. You would be looking after an acting company of eleven actor-musicians and working alongside a full creative team with many years’ experience of creating high-quality actor-musician work.

Location/Production: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.

Dates: 27th October to 15th December (although there is some flexibility on dates).

There would be a hand over to a CSM from 12^th Dec.

This position would be perfect for a CSM on a Commercial Contract, a DSM wanting to move into company management or a stage manager who wants Christmas off!

Rate: Equity Subsidised Rep Grade 2 plus relocation, travel and overtime. Basic wage, £535 + £189 relocation/week.

NWT won the Best Digital Pantomime in the UK at the Pantomime Awards 2021, for our production of Jack and the Beanstalk. NWT is currently shortlisted for UK Theatre’s Most Welcoming Theatre Award.

Our 400-seater midscale auditorium is perfectly formed being both epic and intimate, as such it delivers the most impactful, exhilarating, and stimulating of shows – there’s not a bad seat in the house.
