Wolsey Writers – WORKSHOP

Performed from Sat 2 Oct — Sat 4 Dec

Do you have a story to tell? A touch of the poet? Are plays your scene?

Or are you struggling to find your voice…?

Wolsey Writers is a creative writing group that offers space to let your imagination wander; tips on how to improve; and encouragement to achieve your goals.

‘Humble, informative and inspirational – that is surely the success and key to Wolsey Writers.’

Wolsey Writers WORKSHOPS are facilitated creative writing classes led by Katie Ward, an award-winning Suffolk author, published in the UK and US.

During autumn 2021 Katie will use the Roman poet Ovid’s classic collection of ancient myths ‘Metamorphoses’ as the starting point for group work, focused writing time, personal support, and inspirational tips for the aspiring writer.

Each session includes
• A deep dive into our theme.
• Tools and techniques to improve your writing practice.
• The opportunity to create work to potentially share at the
New Wolsey Theatre.

‘It was brilliant – I can’t remember a better writing class.’
