The Merry Traveller is a play set in Parsons Green in sixteenth Century England. Through poetic dialogue the tale of The Merry Traveller’s adventures are told. With a backdrop of a warring King Henry VIII and a lawless Parson of Parsons Green renowned for his smuggling, this is a tale of love, humour and corruption. Suitable for adults and children alike.
