Soul, funk and jazz legends Shakatak have enjoyed a level of success and career longevity rarely seen in contemporary music. After a number of successful top 20 singles in the UK, the band went on to score unprecedented international success with the release of the Nightbirds which has become a standard in the popular music repertoire. The classic line-up - Jill Saward (lead vocals), Bill Sharpe (keyboards), George Anderson (bass) and Roger Odell (drums) - continues to release critically acclaimed albums. All four are delighted to be back at The New Wolsey following their unforgettable, sold-out show here in 2012.
