Presented by Tall Stories and Kenny Wax Productions
Tall Stories’ magical, musical stage adaptation of the picture book by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler flies into town prior to a smashing West End season!
How the cat purred and how the witch grinned
As they sat on their broomstick and flew through the wind
The witch and her cat are flying happily along on their broomstick when a stormy wind blows the witch’s hat, bow and wand away into the night.
A helpful dog, bird and frog find the witch’s lost things and all hop on the broom for a ride. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and – CRACK! - it snaps in two!
When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch? And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?
Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up (and their grown-ups).
Disappointed I'm afraid with this one.Not sure who it was aimed at, certainly not our 3 and a half year old Grandson or the children around us. The beginning went right over their heads. It was far too wordy, not enough audience participation and very tuneless songs. The cast are obviously talented and worked very hard, but it just didn't do it for us .
The Horne family
Brilliant cast, brilliant staging, wonderful songs, fantastic puppetry, humour. What more can be said! My children both loved it and it reminded me of being a child again. Is there room on the broom for us three??????
