A magical, playful and charmingly entertaining circus theatre show

Join a princess like no other as she embarks on the biggest journey of her life – to the Moon!

This brilliantly comical story-telling performance looks at the relationship of a brother and sister whilst exploring the role of gender stereotypes within children’s theatre, using a rope, a hoop and bags of imagination.

Moonfall is a 45-minute two-hander which uses aerial circus, physical comedy and magical story telling, to bring to life the story of a princess, a prince and the moon, perfect for small to mid-scale venues.

The narrative of the piece is light hearted and playful, following the story of a not-so-typical princess and her relationship with her brother. Being fed up with the way the world is around her, she decides to run away to the moon! This piece highlights sibling relationships, friendship and challenges the role and presentation of both the female and male characters in a humorous and beautiful way.

Moonfall has been created by Hikapee, with support from Arts Council England, Theatre Delicatessen, Jacksons Lane, SeaChange Arts and Circus Futures.

Suitable for families and children aged 4+

Presented as a part of PULSE Festival.
