Ian Shaw is one of the most distinctive, original and creative jazz singers that the UK has produced, as well as being a talented pianist, songwriter, presenter and record producer. He is delighted to be performing both solo at the piano and alongside these other great artists this evening. Expect some songs from his current album “Shine Sister Shine”. “Beloved Brit jazz vocal star” Time Out “An impassioned and versatile artist” The Guardian.

Originally from Perth, Australia, Brandon Allen relocated to London in 2000.
Since arriving in the UK, he has become established as a top-rated performer and has worked with many varied artists and groups/ensembles as a saxophonist. Brandon is also busy as a session musician, composer and arranger for commercial music and films. He has performed with Eric Clapton, Mica Paris, Jools Holland, Paloma Faith, Neil Diamond among very many others.

Saxophonist and composer Vasilis Xenopoulos is one of the most accomplished Greek jazz musicians of his generation. London became his permanent home after graduating from the infamous Berklee College of Music, and gradually established himself as one of London’s up and coming jazz saxophonists. He has worked with some of the best musicians in the British jazz scene.

The Chris Ingham Trio featuring Chris Ingham (piano), Arnie Somogyi (bass) and George Double (drums). The Trio are one of the UK's leading rhythm sections and are regulars at Ronnie Scott's club and have received high praise in both the national and specialist jazz press.
Chris Ingham leader of the Trio since 2013, whose CDs have been highly acclaimed and is musical director of popular film song quintet Jazz At The Movies, Chris is also a record producer and was jazz piano and voice tutor at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge for 20 years. Arnie Somogyi is one of the UK's outstanding bass talents - musician, bandleader, composer, presenter, and music lecturer – and is much-in-demand among leading US and European musicians. Featured on over 30 top albums and film tracks. George Double is a busy freelancer and respected published drum educator. He tours regularly with vocal legend Jack Jones and has played with Marc Almond, Ruthie Henshall and Kym Mazelle as well as on West End shows. He drums with Jazz At The Movies, the Georgina Jackson Quartet and curates Hadleigh and Southwold Jazz Clubs in Suffolk.

A great gig featuring top names and a repeat of last year’s unmissable and unique club-style night which we were told was: “One of the best jazz gigs I’ve been to”.
