10am–12pm: Jazz Drumming with Bob Airzee

Get to grips with being a jazz drummer. Topics covered include: Jazz Co-ordination & Independence, applying rudiments to the kit, feathering the bass drum, soloing ideas, song form.

Snare drums and cymbals will be provided. Please bring your own sticks and brushes. Some (free) literature will be available. Tutor Bob Airzee is a well-known local bandleader, teacher and plays with many local jazz groups.

Tickets £15 from New Wolsey Theatre. Maximum 15 places.
