Claire Martin & Ian Shaw Present A Century of British Song

Performed on Fri 27 May

The image is in a black, white and blue colour scheme. On a brick wall in the background is a blue neon sign reading 'Jazz.' A black and white photograph of a man wearing a hat and sunglasses and a woman smiling is in front of the wall. White text around them reads 'from the producers of Ronnie Scott's All Stars' and 'Claire Martin & Ian Shaw present A Century of British Song.'

Internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, Claire Martin and the renowned piano-vocalist Ian Shaw, take to the stage to celebrate a sparkling selection of vocal numbers from some their favourite British songwriters in this intimate duo setting.

Expect stylish re-workings of much loved classics from Richard Rodney Bennett to David Bowie, and from Noel Coward to Elvis Costello - alongside classics including Ray Noble's 'The Very Thought of You' and Anthony Newley's 'Who Can I Turn To?'.
