Anthony Nolan LIVE is a charity concert helping to raise £10,000 in aid of Leukemia. The show will be hosted by the BBC’s Countryfile and One Show presenter Joe Crowley and will be a night of fantastic variety entertainment all in aid of Anthony Nolan, the charity that provides bone marrow and stem cell transplants in the UK.
Leukemia (or blood cancer) is curable via a transplant and every 20 minutes someone is diagnosed with Leukemia, but not everyone can find a match. It costs around £100 to put one person on the donor register and is as simple as spitting in a tube and that’s why we are holding the concert. Raising funds and awareness for Anthony Nolan means that we can find more people for the donor register and save more lives.
The concert will feature comedian ’Kimmy Harrison’ arriving direct from the USA, winner of Stars In Their Eyes ’Tracey Shield’, ’The TestostaTones’ from Britain’s Got Talent, aerial artist 'Daisy Black', 'Wattisham Military Wives Choir', London based singer 'Gemma Kalmakrian’, professional graduate dancers from ‘Performers College’, local cancer research fundraising choir ‘Diamond’, 8-piece band ’Turntable’ and a spectacular Lord of the Dance number from Evolution Foundation College with more acts to be announced through our social media soon! There will also be a live auction for great prizes such as a Helicopter Ride over London for 3 people and more!
A great way to support charity Anthony Nolan and all just by sitting back and enjoying an evening of entertainment.
