Written by Carol Harrison and directed by Tony McHale

In 1964, a new phenomenon exploded onto the dingy British streets. It was the essence of all that was cool. It was Mod. Mods stuck two fingers up at the class-ridden society and its dull redundant culture. They were working-class free spirits who rode sexy streamlined Italian Vespas or Lambrettas.

The sharpest Mod of all was known as a ‘FACE’.

The Small Faces encapsulated all that is Mod, a unique blend of taste and testosterone, neat, clothes obsessed and street-wise. But these cult sophisticates shared another passion, their dedication to Rhythm ‘n’ Blues. This ‘Mod’ Musical is a trans-generational musical experience celebrating the unique sound of the iconic Mod band, The Small Faces.

Featuring the music of the Small Faces, including an arsenal of brilliant hits like Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Lazy Sunday, Shar La La La Lee, Here Comes The Nice, Itchycoo Park and ofcourse All Or Nothing.

What the public say

I took my husband to see the show last week as a secret birthday present, as in his youth he loved the music of 'The Small Faces ' and used to play football with Rod Stewart . He stated ' the show was absolutely amazing, funny and so authentic to life in London' . The music was superb and the singing and acting outstanding . We both thoroughly enjoyed this musical and think it's one of the best we've ever seen. DEFINATELY go and see it if you get a chance- you won't be disappointed . A truly great evening of entertainment !

Wow have just seen the last night of the show, will knock your socks off. Great musicians and singers great to see a real drummer that looks like he is enjoying himself along with the band. Very powerfuly acted and leaves you wondering "What If" Thoroughly enjoyed the evening as usual. Another great show at The Wolsley.

Excellent performance. Cast and music second to none. Ipswich brought the house down at today's matinee. Thank you Wolsey Theatre. We are privileged.
