In the foreground is a large tree, with a donkey coming into the image from the bottom left corner. Across the image are pink hearts and white sparkles. Image across the text reads 'The New Wolsey Theatre's Young Company presents 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' - Thu 8 - Sat 10 Aug 2024 - 7:00pm nightly. All tickets £10.' It’s Midsummer’s Night and two very different worlds are about to collide.

Carefree lovers and a band of amateur actors cross paths with the Fairy King and Queen in an enchanted forest. When Puck, a mischievous fairy, starts casting their prankish spells the lines between dreams and reality start to blur and everyone’s in for a night of chaos, love, jealousy and …… a pair of donkey’s ears!

Arguably Shakespeare’s greatest comedy comes to our main stage this summer, in an accessible and anarchic adaptation performed by members of the New Wolsey Theatre’s Young Company and Senior Youth Theatre.

Tickets are FREE for anyone aged 22 and under, making 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream' the perfect opportunity to introduce young people to the power of Shakespeare’s language, the thrill of live performance, and the work of our talented young theatre makers.
