NW2 opens!

The new site of our Creative Communities department is now open!

A beautiful and striking space, golden-roofed ‘NW2’ will house the New Wolsey Theatre’s youth and participation activities. The accessible building features a participation space, offices, a meeting room, editing suite and Changing Places facility, making sure everyone feels welcome and included.

NW2 includes a reimagining of the public spaces that surround the theatre and over £2m has been wholly and generously financed by the owner of the site, Peter de Savary. It forms phase one of the theatre’s refurbishment project, and building work in the main theatre continues, with plans for a redesign of the Front of House area.

Photographs of NW2, taken by Mike Kwasniak, are below:

The image shows the new building of the New Wolsey Theatre, called 'NW2.' It's zig-zagging golden roof and glass walls reflect and shine in the sun, a beautiful blue sky visible above it.
