Who says you can’t do a panto in summer? This joyous 5* show is back for one last time. Live in our auditorium and live streamed, The Snow Queen this half term is the perfect show to give the whole family an injection of Rock ‘n’ Roll panto fun. Running from Thu 27 May – Sun 13 June, the original cast from December 2020 will also be back. They are:
Ticket prices remain the same as in December 2020: £25 for the livestreamed show (per screen) and £25 per seat in the auditorium. Seats in the theatre are being sold in blocks of between 2 and 6 people and we have a maximum seating capacity in the auditorium of 160 per show. Audience members sitting in the same block of seats must be from the same household or bubble.
The show has captioning, audio description and British Sign Language interpretation available, both in the auditorium and on livestream. The BSL performances are on Fri 4 June at 7pm and Sat 12 June at 2pm. Please note that the BSL option will replace the captions on the dates above if you are watching the show from home.
We also have a Relaxed Experience version of the show, which will be available to watch from home. If anyone is interested in making use of this service, please let us know by emailing tickets@wolseytheatre.co.uk for more information.
Once again we’re inviting our audience to be in the show by submitting a home-made dancing video (this time to ‘Runaway Baby’ by Bruno Mars). If you’d like to find out more or submit your dancing video, please click here. Just as we did at Christmas, we’ll be ramping up the live-show jeopardy by collecting a prop vital to the storyline during the show, from one lucky household.
We’re working really hard to ensure the New Wolsey is a Covid-safe environment when we open our doors on Thu 27 May. Feedback from our customers at Christmas was overwhelmingly positive – they felt safe and confident in the measures we had in place. Have a watch of our Covid precautions video before your visit to the New Wolsey, so you know what to expect in terms of social distancing and safety at the theatre (please find the BSL version here).
Due to Covid restrictions we won’t be able to serve food and drink inside the venue for this show, but patrons are welcome to bring their own (no nuts, glass or alcohol please).
