Would you like the chance to be part of a production at the New Wolsey Theatre?

We have the opportunity for four children to share the roles of Young Macduff and Fleance in the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch production of Macbeth this March!

Three witches on a heath have a disturbing prophecy for a victorious warrior. Macbeth will be King of Scotland. As this wicked seed is planted, daring Macbeth and his determined wife Lady Macbeth draw bloody daggers and set out on a fateful path.

But seizing the crown comes at a terrible price, as guilt grows, enemies draw close and the fight for survival hurtles towards a tragic conclusion…

We are looking for four boys to share two roles for performances at the New Wolsey Theatre:

  • Two boys who look 9 years old, to share the role of Young Macduff
  • Two boys who are young looking 13 year olds to share the role of Fleance, Banquo’s son

There will be two children cast for each role who will alternate throughout the run.

Auditions:
Date: Thursday 30th January 2020
Times: Young Macduff (looks 9 years old) – 4.30pm-5.45pm
Fleance (young looking 13 year old) – 6pm-7.15pm
Venue: New Wolsey Theatre Studio, St. George’s Street, Ipswich IP1 3NF

To audition you must be aged over 9 years of age at the date of the first rehearsal.
