What would you say if we told you we had a new online show coming up about one of the most corrupt, powerful and toxic families in the country, featuring an amazing cast including Stephen Fry, Sir Derek Jacobi, Sharon D. Clarke, Rebecca Front and Tamzin Outhwaite to name a few?
We’ve teamed up with the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, and The Barn Theatre, Cirencester, to co-produce an online adaptation of Jonathan Coes’ critically acclaimed, award-winning novel What a Carve Up! and, trust us, you’re not going to want to miss it!
January 1991. Six people are dead. Murdered.
One thing in common – they are all members of the same dangerously powerful family.
One prime suspect – the celebrated writer in the middle of compiling their family history.
A simple open and shut case?
Anything but.
Directed by Tamara Harvey (Home, I’m Darling), the satirical murder-mystery play will be available from Saturday 31 October to Sunday 29 November and a portion of the proceeds raised will be donated to a freelance fund to support theatre workers.
The show has an age guidance of 16+ and features strong language and graphic descriptions of murder.
