Sam trained as an actor/musician at Rose Bruford graduating in 2009. His first job saw him in the No.1 UK Tour of The Eva Cassidy Story Over the Rainbow. He then went on to star in the UK premier of Maya (Barons Court Theatre).  Following this were performances in The Europeans (Unicorn Theatre), Climb The Smallest Mountain (Kings Head Theatre) and Worth a Flutter (New Red Lion Theatre).  2011 saw Sam leave the UK to join the Blue Man Group, performing in New York (Astor Place Theatre), Chicago (Briar Street Theatre) and Boston (Charles Playhouse). Sam returned to the UK, soon departing on a world cruise as lead vocalist for the Seabourn Odyssey and MS Amsterdam. Most recently he played Captain Michael Gibson in the new musical The Prodigals (Coventry Belgrade).

Previous to his acting work, Sam was the drummer in an indie/rock band playing venues across the UK including the O2 Academy and most notably performing at the Maldives Breakout Festival.
