Niamh trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Theatre includes: Romeo And Juliet (Volcano Theatre Company), Jack And The Beanstalk (Waterfront Hall, Belfast), Twelfth Night (Chichester Festival Theatre), Macbeth (Chichester Festival Theatre, Gielgud Theatre West End and Broadway), Girls and Dolls and (Old Red Lion, Islington).

Television: Niamh is best known for playing regular Mary-Claire Carter in Holby City (BBC) and  regular PC Danielle Ferrington in three series of The Fall (Artists Studio for BBC).  Her other TV work includes Best: His Mother’s Son (BBC), Doctors (BBC), Upstairs Downstairs (BBC), and Crossing Lines (Stillking Films).

Film includes: Macbeth directed by Rupert Goold, reprising her role from the acclaimed stage production, Learning to Breathe and Maze.  Also the short films Bat and Balls and Penny From Heaven.

Radio includes: Words and Music (BBC Radio) and The Haunted Road (BBC Radio).
