Martina is a self-taught performer and musician. Born in Nigeria and raised in London, she has been exposed to a wealth of diverse cultural, musical and literary influences – from tribal to contemporary African art, the sounds of Fela Kuti, Sade, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and the writings of Maya Angelou.
