Jamie trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama where he graduated with a First Class honours degree specialising in lighting design. In 2013 Jamie was awarded the Association of Lighting Designers’ ETC Award and the Philip & Christine Carne Prize from RWCMD. His theatre credits include: The Red Helicopter (Arcola Theatre), AnneX, QuiXote, Due Saponette Rosse di Tritolo, BURN (Fucecchio, Italy), MICROmegas (Riverside Studios), Arthur’s Quest (Venue 45, Edinburgh), The Children’s Hour, Earthquakes in London, Arabian Nights (Bute Theatre, Cardiff), Once a Catholic, The Merchant of Venice (Richard Burton Theatre, Cardiff), Merrily He Rolls Along, Honk!, Footloose (Epsom Playhouse). As Assistant Lighting Designer Jamie has worked on BLAM! (for Lee Curran), Don Giovanni, Oedipus Retold, The Biograph Girl, Salad Days (for Rob Mills), Showtime (for Liam Fahey), A Man of No Importance (for Douglas Green).
