David was a finalist in the Linbury Prize for Stage Design and won the 2014 Off-West End Award for Best Designer. He graduated from LIPA with a first class degree in Theatre & Performance Design. Recent productions include Billy Liar (Royal Exchange, Manchester), Abigail’s Party (Curve, Leicester), The Wasp (Hampstead Theatre) and Cafe Society Swing (59E59 New York).

As an Assistant/Associate Designer David has worked on productions for the Donmar Warehouse, National Theatre, Sheffield Crucible, Chichester Festival Theatre, Glyndebourne, The Metropolitan Opera, in the West End and on Broadway.
