This autumn, the award winning Ipswich Operatic & Dramatic Society brings a very special production to the Seckford Theatre stage, with a show celebrating and incredible 60 years of entertaining Suffolk audiences.

Formed back in 1955 the society has performed countless musicals; traditional choices like Carousel, Half A Sixpence and A Fiddler on the Roof, lesser known productions such as Country Girl, The New Moon and Blitz as well as up to date hits including Evita and the Full Monty - and just about everything in between.

Sounds Familiar has been IODS’s annual homage to musical theatre; a chance for the talented and ever evolving cast to bring captivated audiences the hits, the highlights, the very best of stage and screen music. 2015 will certainly be a show to remember as they aim to revisit 60 years of impeccable performances and cherry pick the finest moments for you to enjoy.
