The Suitcase Prize challenges theatre makers to think in an environmentally and economically sustainable way. The 10 participants compete to win £1,000 by presenting a 20 minute scratch which can be transported on public transport! Yes, literally in a suitcase! The judging panel will consider your feedback throughout the day at #pulsesuitcase

There are three sessions. One ticket covers all sessions.

1.00pm to 2.20pm - New Wolsey Studio

A high-octane physical comedy celebrating what it means to be a woman.
Shlock!
A collision between Fifty Shades of Grey, the radical punk-pirate Kathy Acker and the sounds of Sonic Youth.
A Place In The Sun
A Place in the Sun explores the pleasure and pain and the highs and lows of all-inclusive holidays.
Lie Back and Think of England
A Clown teaches sex education in this touching, irreverent, physical comedy.

Add on last years Suitcase Prize winner's Two Destination Language with Near Gone for £5.

All ticket holders are welcome to the prize giving ceremony in the New Wolsey Theatre bar at 10.30pm.

Some events within Suitcase Day are suitable for ages 15+ only.

All Pulse Festival events offer unreserved seating so you simply choose where you sit on arrival.
