The auditorium is accessible by wheelchair and there is a toilet for wheelchair users on the ground floor. We offer £5 off the top two ticket bands for disabled people while those accompanying a disabled customer to help facilitate their visit will be offered a free ticket.

In addition to the wheelchair space in Row K The New Wolsey Theatre has recently created two new spaces for wheelchair users near the front of the auditorium which can be accessed from the ground floor, thereby avoiding the need to use the wheelchair lift. The new spaces will make theatre visits a much easier prospect for wheelchair users. You may still choose to use the space on the upper level but having spaces closer to the stage which avoid the need to use the lift will hopefully encourage many more wheelchair users to make visits to the New Wolsey.

The New Wolsey has two systems to help people with hearing impairments:

the Sennheiser infra red sound system which transmits sound via headsets. Headset units may be borrowed free of charge, on payment of a refundable deposit.

the induction loop system at the box office which can be used by those with hearing aids, which should be set to 'T'.
